This installation, inspired by ancient water clocks, was located in the tower above the Mills College Art Museum. This elemental work invited viewers to experience the passage of time in a different way, and to consider how a very simple act — a consistent sequence of water drops — can not only keep time, but it can alter the light and sound of the space around us.
